W31 Inception Poster

I like this design because of its symbolism and its ability to incorporate many aspects of the movie into one poster. I believe the target audience of this poster is males ages 25-35 who thoroughly enjoyed the film Inception by Christopher Nolan. The concept of this design is to have a very important object from the story as the focal point, the spinning top, as this spinner creates a ripple of where it was spinning it represents aspects of the story such as the concept of layers, especially layers within dreams, as used in the movie. Inside the spinner is also a city which plays a major role in the story as the setting is constantly changing and the film explains many things through the city atmosphere. Then, the text is also fairly aligned with each other, except for "Inception" which follows the path of the ripple drawing attention to the ripple and the title of the movie. This design could be found in many places including on social media to advertise the design skills of the artist, or in online stores or local stores as a poster for someone who enjoys the film so much that they are willing to buy a poster of the movie and hang it up on their wall.
