W26 La La Land Poster

I like this design because of its ability to use photographic elements in a poster design that still focuses on simplicity. I believe the target audience for this poster is females ages 20-30 who enjoy the theater and musicals. The concept of this design is to have one of the main images from the movie where the two main characters are dancing and mask the image into a musical note and have the characters dancing on top of it, and then have the words la la land in a vertical format with the names of the two main actors below this. This design could be found in a few different places, although the design is most likely not for official promotion it will not be used in marketing for the movie. Instead, it will be used across the internet for people to showcase their design skills and it will be used in online stores as a poster for purchase to hang up in someone's house.
